Costco Orange Chicken & Potstickers for Dinner
I have to include this as a main dish “recipe” because it is a family favorite. We eat this at most once a month and it is always a hit. The meal is very simple, as it consists of frozen Costco Madarin Orange Chicken, Costco Ling Ling All Natural Potstickers and basmati rice. I often quickly stir-fry a vegetable to go along with the meal. Sometimes I stir-fry fresh green beans in sesame oil with a bit of oyster sauce or stir-fry broccoli with just a bit of garlic, oil and salt. I have tried several recipes to make orange chicken from scratch, but I have realized it is not worth the time and effort. The same holds true for potstickers. So I would go “semi-homemade” if you are craving that Panda Express flavor at home.
I absolutely love this meal. For some strange reason my family does not. My little ones turn their oases up to it. I try to make it every 6 months hoping their tastes have changed. Not yet, but I am determined. Love your blog!
Pam – Keep trying – it may take at least a dozen tried before the kids like it. Serve it to them when they are really hungry, after church or for dinner when they have missed and afternoon snack.
Just don’t try to make this from scratch – it never turns out right and is too much work!!
