Winter Wonderland Cookies
Winter Wonderland Cookies
Christmas Cookies 2012. The last couple of months have been crazy. Soon after Thanksgiving we decided to move our family to Salt Lake City, Utah. Needless to say I have not had much time to decorate cookies, or even to cook for that matter. Life has been crazy, but when I arrived at my sister’s house in St. George she had already baked sugar cookies and made royal icing so I was able to have fun decorating with out all the hard work. We made 10 colors, but in the end I just used white and baby blue (just a touch of Wilton royal blue). I love the candy canes. For the one on the left I outlined in white and filled in alternating colors. For the one on the right, I outlined in blue and filled in the same way. All the others were pretty straight forward. I need to do more simple palettes like these in the future. Hopefully we will be settled and decorating cookies by Valentines Day.
Horray! You are blogging again! That is such a cute batch of cookies and it was fun being the assistant cookie maker. I learned a lot from watching a pro at work – miss you guys
Love the blue! Glad to see you blogging again. Hope you are settling in well!
